Sky as dark as night. Sun dead to the world, just like the moon. Darkness was surrounding everything, taking things into it's warm embrace. Enjoying the warm bosom that in provided to those that welcomed the darkness. The lack of oxygen. The lack of life in one's restless body as it layed decaying on the forest floor. Only to give life to the thousands of flesh eating bugs that thrive on the forests floor. Blood that soaks into the soil to feed the plants that STARVED for water. For the life giving liquid that another living creature once used. Death was beautiful. Death was great. Death was the ultimate  result for any living creature.

Jade eyes watched. Stared at the carcass soaked into the ground and feeding the bugs what she didn't feel like eating. Karma licked her lips slowly, tasting the iron rich blood of the deceased rabbit. Her right paw rolled the animals head around in a circle as she looked on into the darkness. The moons light was spotty at best, but she could at least tell that in two feet a tree was there. Otherwise, the moon was dead in the darkness.
The pretty colored female leaned her head down and put her  front teeth on the back of the rabbit's carcass and moved her right paw from the severed skull and placed it on the rib cage. Then, with a quick movement, the young lady made a quick tug and easily severed the spine from the body. A few ribs severing from the spine as well. Karma's sharp k-9's made quick work with snapping the spinal bones in half as she chomped on them.

Full. The female stood from her comfortable position. She snorted as she looked down at the skull that was at her paws. "Couldn't even be considered a snack." She mumbled as she rolled the skull around once more with her right paw. The jade eyed female looked at the one eyed face of the skull. The only flesh that she left on the poor things head. "Why don't you go and watch the pests as they devour your body." Kar mused as she picked the skull up and placed it on a nearby root, the face pointing the dismembered parts of the rabbits body that she didn't feel like devouring.

She smirked. Feeling that her mark on this part of the world had been made. The corpse would watch it's self being eaten by bugs in the afterlife now. "May your soul wonder for a thousand years." Karma murmured to the skull, she closed her eyes and gave a small nose kiss to the side of the skull. Then, she turned and headed off towards where ever her legs would lead her. The strong scent mark of a pack came and past. Karma not really caring if she was trespassing at this point. She'd just apologize and say something along the lines of she got lost and was just passing through or something. Play the weak little woman card, or maybe she'll play the flirt? Who knows. If anyone roamed the darkness that is, she'd make sure to put on her best act and use her body to get out of any situation that was thrown her way.

(Dusty(Garrison) and I have been given the okay for this to be a prp.)

Hawks pass by in oily darkness, blue eyes tracking each of them as they go by. The Outer Ring is theirs, domain of the Jitte (who he still outranks) and beyond his greedy jaws. They carve elegant marks into the hollow of throats, and escort inductees to the Promised Land.

Garrison waits, just where Inner Ring meets Outer. Slaving Season cannot come soon enough for bloodshot eyes and the anger pounding in his head, so he waits. On the border, he eyes every approach, their Hawks stretched thin, but wanderers sparse as well, hoping to Shekinah for one to come to close, to cross that line, to make the final mistake of a Heathen lifestyle.

It's his lucky day. His eyes close, ears track the movement through tightly-wound walls. His massive forms rises, and he strides, following the sound and scent. Her idle wandering, his memorized path through the maze, the light long since lost to the trees. When the panic sets in, when she realizes she is being followed by that she cannot see, he outpaces her. Twisting routes, separated by impenetrable ivy. Perhaps she glimpes the lumbering beast through the trees, where the the white of his legs flash out from under camouflaged fur. Maybe it's just the sound that scares her, or the fact that whatever is following her intently, step for step through the barrier between them, does not watch her. His eyes remain closed. He knows the lay of the Inner Ring, and is well aware that following what little light penetrates the leaves will lead you only to dead ends.

She doesn't know that. Garrison breaks away as his path curves off from parallel, and Karma finds herself running scared, headfirst into the wall of trees. Her only option left, to retrace steps, to turn around, and somehow pass the blue-green eyes now boring into her.

When it's quiet out, every little thing can become paranoia if you're mot careful. The sound of wind rattling leaves, the drip of a drop of water falling down a leaf after a rain storm. Anything can become nerve wrecking if you're not careful. Even breathing can help, chanting in your mind that things will be fine can help. Accepting the nightmare of a life you are living in, can help. Darkness and death can go hand in hand after all.

Karma licks her lips, still tasting the iron rich blood from her meal that she had not to long ago. Her eyes flashing right, then left as the feeling of being watched starts to develop. Her mind telling her to start panicking, the she should run. She doesn't though. Being in tuned with the thought of death and darkness, Karma's never really been one to fear others. She's usually been the one that showed little to no emotion unless she wanted to. Needed to, to be able to play her little games with them.

Jade eyes quickly flash to the side, her head kept straight so that she didn't show that she noticed. 'White paws?' She thinks to herself as she casts her eyes forward again. Amusement starting to show in her eyes. A small smirk appearing on her lips. "Baa." She made the sound of a stupid animal that she once herded for fun. It's funny sound still echoing in her mind. The fur that it possessed was so soft, so nice to use to curl up with on those cold nights. Oh, how she hated herself for leaving it behind when she moved on. "Baa." She made the sound again as she stopped her steady little trot. Her eyes narrowed as she was stuck against a wall of trees. It seems she was out smarted, herded like those damn prey animals that she herded not to long ago.

"Well done." Karma mused as she looked around the trees. She couldn't find a way to make it through the trees. The darkness hiding any little holes that she could sneak her little body through. Karma snorted, then turned around. Her jade colored eyes looking for any sort of movement from the thing that herded her towards the trap. "Well played for sure." She mused, licking her lips again. "But hide and seek can only be so fun." Karma sighed and took the creatures bait. Not being one to like standing in one place for to long she started to trace her steps back once again. "Come out, oh big scary monster." She said, in a sickeningly sweet voice. "You have me shaking in my fur." She sighed in the most feminine manor that she could, rolling her eyes the whole time.

He is unhearing, unblinking. His stance is wide, paws large, tail still. They are within Oukoku; he is permitted to speak, to taunt his prey. Garrison is acting as a slaver now, and so, he is acting in accordance with the Oath of Silence. When she rounds the corner she took not long ago, she will find her only means of escape blocked by the immovable wolf. Words thump against his eardrums, pass through his skull unimpeded. The insults fall flat against pure instinct.

A paw comes daintily into his view, and jaws latch on. This is her fate, eyes rolled away, speaking over any clue of his position, reflexes dulled by flippancy. He holds fast, pulls the bones from the socket. If she resists, it breaks. if she follows the guide-wire of his mouth, his head swings to the side, yanks her into the air. Her balance is offset, she is in pain, and despite whatever reaction she has to this, her leg is in his mouth, and Garrison has superior size, training, and knowledge of their arena. He only releases by swinging her to the side, corridors narrow, most of the damage from the odd branch that splinters her side, instead of any blunt force negated by the confines.

Maybe she bounces off the wall, fairly unscathed, or perhaps she only skids across the ground and struggles to recover on an injured leg. None of these considerations pass through Garrison's brain, he knows only the goal: capture, or kill. Wide maw lunges for her neck. Capture: scruff. Kill: throat. Where do they land?

Games, cat and mouse, Chase, those were the two games that Kar had in mind when she entered this area. Knowing that she was going to be getting in trouble with them. She knew that each pack was different. What she wasn't expecting though, was the non verbal confrontation with this oh so delectable male. It sent chills down her spine at the thought of the mystery that he was providing her. She liked it. She liked the unpredictability that this male was providing for her.

Licking her lips once more, a half pained yelp escaped from the young beauty as she let the other wolf take hold of her paw. A shock wave of pain shot through the bones at his bite force. He liked it rough it seemed. Not wanting to be with a broken leg, Karma allowed the male to swing her, but she didn't let her body become a rag doll. She still had some dignity after all.

Her smaller paws dug into the dirt as she landed on the ground. Claws scraping the dirt as she slid, not letting her body to attract any more damage then it had already contracted. Her right paw throbbed with the action, but Karma ignored it. It'll be fine in a little while. The feeling she had in her toes meant that it wasn't broken so she'll live. She will be able to move with the paw another day.
Jade eyes look up just in time to see the flash of bright blue orbs as they lunge towards her. Her eyes narrow and she scuffs, she wasn't a fighter. So, she bent her head down and let him take hold of her scruff. Oh yes, he liked it rough, that's for sure. "Haven't you ever been told to not hurt a lady?" Karma asked, trying to keep her voice even. She didn't want to show that she was in pain from her paw and from the teeth that were digging into her scruff.

Karma gulped as she made a move to pull back slightly, wanting to stand as the awkward position of being held down was not something she was in the mood for. Then, she stopped as she didn't want the male to draw blood and ruin her beautiful fur. "Alright! I give." Karma said after a little while longer, feeling annoyed with the male. "Release me."  They were not on equal footing here, Kar could easily tell that as he had easily led her to an area where he could ambush her. He outsmarted her, but she'll have the upper paw once it's daylight and she can observe a layout where she could have the upper paw in things. Kar may be playing the weak act right now, but that's only because she didn't want to fight. She's more of a woman of words. Given another chance though, she'll rip his tail off for being disrespectful to her.

Chuckles burble from his gut, around the fur gathered in his mouth. Garrison rears back, laughter roaring from his open mouth. "Of course not! This is Oukoku-Kai!" He's comfortable revealing the name of the Promised Land, body blocking her only escape, certainly not running on that foot for a few days. "Gender is no consequence." Oh, how well he knows.

He snaps at her once more, this time with ample telegraphing to dodge. Garrison spits after. "Pain is power. Obviously, you have much to learn." One paw shoves at her, upsetting the three-legged balance she's been forced to. "You'll learn."

Garrison headbutts her shoulder, urging her forward. They go together, out of the forest, further in, and further from the outside. Of course it hurts to walk on that paw, but she should have considered that-- all of it-- before insulting a monster in the dark. She's not getting away in this state, and by the time that leg is healed, it will be too late.

The laughter that erupted form the male would usually be pleasure to her ears, but, not this time. The sound aggitated her quite a bit actually. It made her want to bite into his own flesh and show him some pain. If she had the advantage in this unknown landscape, she'd for sure show him that she was annoyed.

As soon as she was let go, Karma rolled to the side away from him. With good reason, because she soon as she did, she saw his fangs again. Crazy bastard was acting like she was some sort of prey animal. "Pain is not the only kind of power there is, you know." Karma said as she glared at the male. She stood up, wobbly as she didn't realize how much her front paw hurt. Damn it. She thought, then growled as she tumbled to the side a few steps from being headbutted.

Karma bares her fangs at the male, but complies as she follows him towards where ever he was leading her. Her pace slowed because of her paw, but she tries to mask the pain with a blank face. She's not going to let him hold that over her, she's going to find a way to win this cat and mouse game.
