Amen lets out a sigh of relief as a few strays here and there approached, but the feeling of relief was soon ushered away as they began to ask questions. Of course, she was prepared for them- a weary glance was offered to Eve, who answered each question to the best of her ability, and to Francisca, who spoke bluntly and didn't skirt around the point.. like she would.

"Yes, we're.. welcome to take anyone on board who is interested in going back home with us. You're not obligated to stay, of course! You're always welcome to return.. ah.. home.."  although, she looked around the wasteland and gulped. Was this really home to any of them who came? Not that she could judge them for making due, but..

"Well.. the knowledge bit.. the specific knowledge bit can be answered by someone other than myself, as I.. I understand what it is we're looking for, I just can't put it into words, you know?" and that was something Deimos could do, or perhaps Franky and Eve would want to take over that part, but she suspected the kingdom's weird daughter had a better way of phrasing whatever it was they needed.

"If you're still not sure you want to come back with us, I suggest staying behind. We're.. on a tight schedule, you see? I.. We need to be going back home, and it's quite a trip, but we can chat a bit more on the way, how's that sound?" a paw reached up to nervously brush back stray hairs along her head, petting back her heavy ears as she grinned her awkward smile. "I'll even escort you back here when we're done, unless you choose to stay.. but please.. if you're willing to come along, we'd like to be out of here and back on the road before the sun sets."

And it was setting soon. Not that she wanted to rush them, she would've liked to stay out of Gemini for a bit longer, stretch her legs- search for Alteron to find Eira- learning about those from the inbetween, but ah..

Amen stands, dips her head and proceeds to slip past Eve and Franky with her father's light steps. She fumbled this expedition, and she couldn't bare to look at her companions, let alone speak to them. The little ghost hunter had hoped to find more than passerbys, but alas, anyone would do, for now.

this is just a continuation/end post for Hello! New friends!, as I want to get it moving.. I'd like a wrap-up of those who posted essentially deciding whether they wanted to go with Franky/Amen/Eve, or if they choose to stay, so that I know who all to introduce in their 'return' thread. The woman listened with rapt attention as the others spoke. So, it wasn't a rival pack like she had thought. Instead, it had been a sandstorm that drove the inhabitants from their home. For a fleeting moment, the woman felt a sense of envy. That small part of her wished that it had been a natural disaster that drove her and her tribe, her family, from their home, instead of those bastards that dare call themselves a noble pack. She knew exactly why they had done it...because of what she and her family were. They were different than other species, she did not deny that. However, she didn't see it as a bad thing. In fact, her family held themselves in high regard, if not as equals with everything else in this land.

What did stand out to her though, is that these wolves before her did not act surprised at her physical appearance. They did not shy away from her, or look down upon her with disgust and revulsion. Was there hope yet?

"Gemini has taken in refugees before. There is room for anyone and everyone. Anyone who seeks it. The territory is stable, able to support everyone in even the poor seasons."

The dark female nodded, tendriled ears refusing to miss a beat of what the blue female said. It sounded very promising. She didn't really see herself as a refugee, just a loner without a place to call her own. Or maybe she was, considering she was forcefully driven from her home by the enemy. It was either that, or face the abyss that waited on the other side of this life.

"We know what it means to need a helping paw, and so now we offer it. Nobody should have to struggle alone. We're looking for some individuals with particular knowledge. But, we'll take anyone who needs a new home."

Perhaps this was a pack she could get behind, that she could call home. The concept sounded foreign to her now, but she missed it. She needed a place to call home again. She needed to fill that empty void within her soul again.

The answer to the knowledge question had been aimed at the other female that had arrived, yet Alvita acknowledged it all the same. "Yes, your meaning is clear. I must apologize dat I do not know of what you are looking for, but perhaps I could exchange another kind of knowledge, one having tah do wid my kind." Coal black eyes made a sweep of the wolves from Gemini before continuing. "I do not know what your people call us, if ya even have a name for my kind, us dat look very different from you, but we call ourselves Unieke-een, 'unique ones'." Black eyes narrow slightly before she continued. "We were persecuted for what we are. If you are not dose same wolves, and dat your words ring true, perhaps we can learn from each oder. But, I will not give out information lightly. I must know wheda ya seek tah harm my people furder or not, ya see. I am certain ya unda'stand dat." Her expression and tone became lighter. "From what I have seen dough, ya do not seem like deh type tah bring unnecessary harm tah oders." You could never be too cautious, but she had a good feeling about these wolves and their pack.

The thought of leaving this barren place brought some relief to the dark hued female. This could be the moment she had been waiting for, not only to leave this landscape behind, but to start anew. The woman rose to her feet, nodding toward the three Gemini women. "Thank you. I would like tah join you on your journey back tah Gemini. The land sounds promising, and a pack as gracious as yours tah take in dose in need is even more so."

Knowledge that couldn't be put into words? Well that certainly raised a few questions, well more than a few actually, and it seemed like she wasn't the only one with questions and concerns either. It was..nice? to not be the only cautious one for a change. Not that she hadn't ever come across others who were willing to question how much of a gift a gift horse was but still..joining a pack wasn't really what she'd had in mind but supposedly they would be free to leave if they wished which might not be true but she'd been able to successfully visit packs before and had been able to leave in one piece so while she did wonder if she might be pushing her luck far to far with this she figured that she would take the risk anyway. She would follow them to this Gemini and see if anyone she knew was there and maybe learn what she could and leave. If they went back on their claims and tried to prevent her from leaving well..she was always prepared for such worst case scenarios.

That meant there was only her answer to provide. "I do not know if I have the specific information you seek but I will join you and provide whatever knowledge I can". Of course she wasn't going to join permanently and she she certainly wasn't going to provide any and all information that she could but then..the one who spoke before her had expressed similar sentiments of first seeing what the pack was about and she would do the same but unlike the inexperienced one she wasn't going to announce it so bluntly. It would make it all too easy for an ambush to be laid in this Gemini packs favor if they wanted to force the Unique One to provide information. She wasn't about to make that mistake, if anyone was going to have the element of surprise it was going to be her, at least it would be to the greatest extent she could manage. Whether that would be enough if things went sour she didn't know but hopefully she had luck enough left to manage anything that might come up.

"I am Lyra by the way..What might I call you?". She said providing both her use name, her full name was too long and she kept it quiet to limit anyone being able to trace her back to Nardir, while also trying to find out their names. It shouldn't raise any suspicions either as names were bound to come up anyway and Lyra was kinda her name just a shortened version of it.

"I lived in the Outlands before you became alpha and after as well. I think we once had a brief introduction but it wasn't much of a formal one so it is not surprising that you do not remember me". She replied to Eve's query. "I am Nobody and I will join you and stay with your pack, at least for a little while, but I am a traveler by trade and would rather remain as such". She said accepting the offer making careful note of any names, while being glad that even in the Outlands she had gone by the name of Nobody or things would be very awkward, or any information being provided that she might be able to use later on. Which speaking of trade and things to use.."I have some wares to collect that might be of interest and use to your pack. If you don't mind waiting I will go and collect them and we can be on our way so that you are not late for your schedule". She would then add and if they agreed she would quickly go and collect the items she had stashed away from thieves and then they could go.
