The leaves were finally starting to change color. The reds, yellows and purples were really pretty to start watching. Out in the clearing, it was a lot nicer to watch. Instead of being is Diablus where she was usually stuck in a cave or was busy following someone around to keep them company. It was nice, getting to relax for once.

Vaude had gone off on his own. He hadn't told Saki where, so she was pretty sure he was just hunting or just wanted some him time or something. She hoped he wasn't gone long, she didn't like being on her own. It was lonely, and quiet. Saki hated the idea of being alone, it always caused her to feel a little uneasy. Like she was abandoned yet again, for the third time in her young life.

A small yawn escaped from Saki as she said in the sun that shined down into the clearing. Her eyes were closed, nose twitching as the smell of fall started to fill the air. It was quite nice to relax after so much traveling, but she was still lonely. Then, her light purple eyes popped open as she heard rustling. Saki looked towards the sound, her ears twitching as she waited to hear the sound again. "Hello?" She called out, her voice calm and quiet. She wasn't sure if it was a friend or foe, so she'll need to be cautious as to what it could be.

Blue-toed paws crunched the thin layer of leaves beneath as she stepped, oversized ears folded back.
She was alone, she was always alone, fear was a constant in her life. A twig snapped behind her and the flutter of wings drew her attention. Wide eyes spotted a flash of color escaping between the flame-colored leaves and a shiver traveled down her spine. With a whimper, she trotted forward on her path, her tiny nose following the distant scent of water.

A different scent tickled her nose, though. She was so accustomed to being alone, it took a moment before she realized it was another wolf. A.. female? Maybe. It was hard to tell from this far. Curiosity got the best of her and she began to trample ungracefully in the direction her nose told her. Her speed picked up; she intended to get there fast and then observe from a far, but her puppy clumsiness got the best of her. She tripped as she neared, her paw catching on a root, and she somersaulted straight through a bush. Oh no! She heard the wolf call out; she'd been noticed!

She sucked in a brave little breath and poked her head out of the bush, putting on her meanest face. In reality, she couldn't pull off angry, but she tried! She took a deep breath and whispered, "Hello, who're you?". Her ears popped up. She'd meant to grumble, like some grumpy old wolf! She suddenly realized how silly she probably sounded, and looked for that matter. She felt an unwilling, shy smile break across her face. Oops.

Maybe the intruder was a beast that was searching for a snack. Maybe it was Vaud just trying to sneak around on his adventures? Or, it could of been the wind just moving some leaves around somewhere. Saki sighed quietly, thinking that she was just being silly in her little fears. Although, as she heard light footsteps, her ears twitched and she listened as they came closer. Her curiousity peaking as she saw what had made the noise.

A small soft smile played across her lips as she lowered her head. Saki couldn't help but to find the little girl to be extremely adorable. "Hello." Saki replied to the little thing that was putting on the most adorable mean face she had ever seen. A small chuckle at the pups antics caused her to let out a small chuckle. "My names Saki, and you are?" She asked the small pup, tilting her head to the side. You can come more into the clearing and get some water if you want. I'm not going to hurt you. Saki told the young pup, her voice quiet as she smiled and motioned towards the stream that was nearby.

"Where are your parents?" Saki asked, worrying about a pup being on it's own. Especially since it looked quite young.

@Nicki  Sorry it took so long!!I hope you're not to mad at me. <3
