In the stillness of early morning, a hazy winter sky shone white and bright, otherworldly in it's glow. The fall of snow had already begun as quiet snow flakes dotted the world outside the den. As the world slept, the Apostle would stir to meet the dawn. Tired eyes flickered open, shifting slightly to the child that rest at her side and the warm body that braced her back. Ears twitched to the softest sounds of slumber, blue gaze drifted onto the golden form of their newest addition.

Templar had suggested that finding a group was necessary, and they were lucky to have found another lost soul, much like themselves. Truth that the Lord had not abandoned them.

She shuffled, pulling herself up and pulling a cloak over the slumber child's form, Filianore shot a glance to the moon-touched Knight, nuzzling affectionately into his plush neck fur, mumbling something to him as he dozed and then stepped out to greet the cold morning.

Snowflakes littered the sky as they fell to the ground, it was always so mesmerizing to her how quiet a forest could be when snow started to fall, it was peaceful, but lonely. The lady came to a rest by bush of holly, eyes inspecting the leaves and the bright red berries, when a twig snapped and the crunch of foot steps along frosted ground sounded in her ears. Ah? Fili turned slightly, wispy tail flicking behind her. "Cain?" She tried at first, though no answer came. "Templar?" One more and still she heard the foot falls. "Zaniah?" It's then she turned, tired eyes meeting the form of a stranger. "Who are you?" She nearly whispered.

Contact with anyone was far and few between. The man was alright with this notion, his travels had certainly given him perspectives on different people. How they lived and what they believed in. His home was far gone now, dead and burned to dust. The sun never felt so cold in these times of faith trials, but Capricorn had to persevere in his quest to seek something far greater. Something that would lead him back into the grace of the Sun. For it was warm and merciful, and yet it could be ruthless and cold. The prince had to cast a new form.

The cold nip of winter did not help his faith. Silence filled the forest as soft flakes of snow drifted from the overcast sky. Soon, the dirt would be blanketed in white, the crunch of his steps the only company that comforted him. He had known this in the mountain ranges he had crossed, the valley opening up into the Strait. He had traveled so far.

As he walked, his large paw snapped a small twig on the path. This alerted someone as he was soon to discover as they called out unfamiliar names. Three of them, and when no one answered and Capricorn came to light, she questioned who exactly was before her. Tired pale blue met with strange sunrise orange. He paused for several silent moments, taking a breath when he realized he hadn't drawn any. "Filianore?" he offered, hesitating to approach. She had been so young, so sheltered. Did she even remember him?

Did that mean...?

"You're alive... and.. here! Not in his grasp, not under his influence... How..?" Least to say, the man was utterly speechless.
